Notes

Can I wear glasses for a Korean visa photo?
Sunglasses are not allowed except for medical or disability reasons. The consulate guidance does not address clear glasses; removing them is the safest option, especially if they reflect light or hide your eyes.
Can I wear a hijab or other religious head covering?
Yes. Your face must be visible from chin to forehead, with eyes, nose, mouth, and eyebrows uncovered. Your ears may be covered.
Can I smile in the photo?
Keep a neutral expression with your mouth closed and look directly at the camera.
Can I reuse my passport photo?
The photo must be taken within the last 6 months, and it should not be the same photo used in a passport issued within the last 6 months.
