Overview
SpecSnap supports one Laos preset: the tourist eVisa portrait. The official application requires a color 4 x 6 cm photograph, equivalent to 40 x 60 mm, taken within the last six months. The preset provides a 600 x 900 px JPEG with the same 2:3 aspect ratio; that pixel count is an output choice rather than a published government requirement.
Use a plain white background with no shadows. Face the camera directly, keep both eyes open, and use a neutral expression. The official examples accept clear, glare-free glasses when the frames do not cover the eyes, and a head covering that leaves the face visible.
The cited public guidance does not publish a numerical upload byte limit or head-size band. Follow any additional instructions displayed by the live application form. This preset does not cover Lao passports or other identity documents.
Issuing authorities

Frequently asked questions
Which Laos photo types does SpecSnap support?
One: the Lao tourist eVisa portrait. Lao passport photos and other identity documents are outside this preset's scope.
What photo size does the Lao eVisa require?
A portrait measuring 4 x 6 cm, equivalent to 40 x 60 mm. SpecSnap outputs 600 x 900 px in JPEG format, preserving the 2:3 aspect ratio. These pixels are an output choice, not a published government minimum.
Can I reuse another country's visa photo?
Only if it meets the Lao requirements: a recent color 4 x 6 cm portrait, white background, no shadows, frontal view, neutral expression, and both eyes open. Matching the dimensions alone is insufficient.
Are glasses allowed in a Lao eVisa photo?
The official examples accept clear glasses without glare or frames covering the eyes. Tinted lenses and obscured eyes are unacceptable.
What should I check before uploading?
Check recency, sharpness, white background, even lighting, visible facial features, frontal pose, and neutral expression. Follow any file-format or size instructions in the application form; the cited public pages do not state a byte cap.
